Every Ghost Orchid Luxe collection has a purpose beyond the product itself. As our brand grows, we want our success to help support our family while also helping support causes and organizations that are doing meaningful work in the world.

That's why each collection has its own charitable contribution.

The organization, contribution amount, and story may be different from collection to collection—but the goal remains the same:

Our Signature Collection is a little different from our other collections.

Rather than supporting the same organization year-round, the organization associated with the Signature Collection will change each season.

For Fall, we're proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization dedicated to advancing research and treatment for childhood catastrophic diseases.

The Eternal Nocturne Collection contributes $10 from every piece sold to Bobby Jones CSF.

Bobby Jones CSF is dedicated to supporting people and families affected by Chiari malformation and related neurological conditions while advancing education, awareness, and research.

We chose this organization because its work is deeply meaningful to the story and purpose behind this collection.

A Personal Reason

This cause is especially close to my heart.

My mom was my best friend and one of the strongest women I've ever known. She lived for decades with Chiari malformation, and it took far too long for her to receive a diagnosis. Her condition made everyday life incredibly difficult, and she spent much of her life navigating pain and challenges that many people never had to understand.

And yet, she kept pushing forward.

She went back to school. She made the Dean's List. She graduated. She was supposed to celebrate her graduation after our family trip to Alaska.

We all became sick with COVID while we were there. My mom was supposed to return home a week after my husband, daughter, and I did.

She never made it home.

She was hospitalized in Fairbanks for more than a week and ultimately passed away after complications from her many health issues, including double pneumonia.

I still carry the impact of losing her with me.

I hate seeing people have to live their lives suffering, especially when there are people and organizations working to improve understanding, treatment, and support.

If there is something we can do to help, we should do it.

That's why Bobby Jones CSF is part of the story of Ghost Orchid Luxe.

Wings for Widows

The Moonlit Mourning Collection supports Wings for Widows, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping widowed women and men navigate one of life's most difficult transitions.

Wings for Widows empowers widowed individuals to move toward financial confidence, self-sufficiency, and family stability through grief-informed financial education, financial coaching, and trusted resources. The organization provides access to professional guidance and resources designed specifically around the financial and practical challenges that can follow the loss of a spouse.

Their work recognizes something that can be easy to overlook in the aftermath of loss:

Grief doesn't stop the bills.

When someone loses a spouse, they may suddenly find themselves responsible for financial decisions, paperwork, taxes, insurance, housing, estate matters, and countless other practical responsibilities—all while trying to navigate an enormous emotional loss.

Wings for Widows exists to help make that journey less overwhelming.

Their services include access to financial coaching from Certified Financial Planner™ professionals, financial education through WidowWise University, and a Resource Center containing information and guidance for widowed individuals. Their Financial Coaching and Resource Center are available at no cost, while additional educational resources and scholarship assistance are also available.

Why We Chose Wings for Widows

The Moonlit Mourning Collection was created around themes of loss, remembrance, darkness, and the beauty that can still exist within grief.

Supporting an organization that helps people find their footing after losing a spouse felt like a natural extension of that story.

Widowhood can change everything.

A person's family structure changes. Their responsibilities can change. Their financial circumstances can change. And suddenly, they may have to make enormous decisions while still trying to figure out how to live in a world that looks completely different from the one they knew.

We believe no one should have to navigate that transition completely alone.

Through Moonlit Mourning, we hope to help support the work Wings for Widows is doing to help widowed individuals find clarity, confidence, stability, and a path forward.

Because mourning may be part of someone's story.

But it doesn't have to be the end of it.

Whispers Beneath Paris is part of our Limited Edition collection series.

Because Limited Edition pieces are designed to be especially rare and meaningful, we wanted their charitable contribution to reflect that.

$20 from every product sold from Whispers Beneath Paris will be contributed toward The Dougy Center, an organization that supports children, teens, young adults, and families grieving the death of someone significant in their lives.
